Hey, Reader. It was a nice weekend for us. My daughter wrapped up her dance competition season with a 1st place win. She & her team scores platinum, and Bristol accepted their pins & award for the team. It was lovely to see her on stage, confidently telling the crowd her name & studio. I almost cried. Watching her step into her own & letting her light shine makes me overjoyed -- especially since I have the mental clarity these days to be present wit her. In my days of overwhelm, exhaustion resentment -- that would not have happened. I know I am not the only one who has experienced those emotions or a loss of independence or identity.
